Globe Wireless, provider of communications, operational and IT
solutions to the maritime industry, has announced it has been granted a
Blanket Wireless Radio Station License by the Japanese Ministry of
Information and Communications, effective from September 29th, 2011.
Inmarsat FleetBroadband provides simultaneous, high speed data and voice
connectivity anywhere in the world. FleetBroadband from Globe Wireless
provides ships with email, internet, voice and GSM communications. The
services are designed to enhance operational performance and crew
welfare.
